Licensing
What is "Production Music"?
Production music or library music is specifically created for sync in audio and audiovisual productions. This includes TV, radio adverts, feature films, websites and even online viral marketing campaigns. All broadcast use must be reported to the relevant Performance Right Organisation in your territory.
How can I obtain a licence for your music?
Loaded Production Music proudly operates under the umbrella of MCPS and PRS For Music, which issue licences in the UK for TV, film, advertising, branded content and trailers on our behalf.
The comprehensive rate card is readily accessible, and securing a licence is as simple as applying through the PRS For Music online Licence Manager.
Should you have any inquiries regarding licence terms, rates, or clearance, please don't hesitate to drop us an email. We're also available to assist with licensing queries outside of the UK.
What exactly is an IPC blanket licence?
The Independent Production Companies (IPCs) licence is accessible to all UK production companies/producers creating content for television and online platforms.
Loaded Production Music is integrated into this licensing framework, meaning if your company already holds a licence, our music is usable as a part of this.
Broadcast licences
Numerous UK broadcasters have established annual blanket agreements with MCPS/PRS For Music, enabling you to incorporate our music into your projects commissioned by specific broadcasters such as BBC, ITV, Sky, and many others, free of charge.
For comprehensive details regarding a broadcaster's blanket agreement, please reach out to us or directly contact the broadcaster’s internal music team.
What about international usage?
For licensing inquiries outside of the UK, we encourage you to liaise with one of our international partners operating in the relevant territory. If we are not published in your territory by a partner, kindly email studio@loadedproductionmusic.com, and we can arrange a licence for you.
